April 07 Update

Tour de France Date for Cyclemagic

Cyclemagic is to play a major part at the opening ceremony of this year's Tour de France at London's Trafalgar Square on Friday July 6th. We've been asked to promote community cycling, celebrate cycling history and showcase our wide range of alternative bicycles for half an hour on the main stage.

Roger, who'll be hosting the event, said  "We are all very excited about being involved in such a huge event but I must admit to being a little nervous about being on the Tour de France main stage in front of an expected crowd of 100,000 people and media from across the world!"

Simon added, "We couldn't buy the level of publicity we'll receive, it will be a massive boost to our profile and I'm sure it will significantly increase our business. But most of all, we're going to have great fun, see what happens behind the scenes of the Tour de France and meet some of the top riders."
We'll also be running a three day Tryout Roadshow and Cycling History Roadshow on Hyde Park over the Tour weekend of 6-8 July, so if you're in town come and say hello!

Rob's Tallbike Tour

Rob begins his Tallbike Tour of Ireland on April 28th and we all wish we were going with him! Check out how he's getting on and, if you haven't already, sponsor him for a few quid; it's all for a good cause.

January 07 Update

We're Moving!

We have just picked up the keys to our new community cycling centre down the road at 66 Friday Street. We’ve now got 3,000 square feet over two floors and this will include a shop, posh office, reception area, conference room, training area, workshop and a huge storage facility. We aim to open on March 8th with a launch party and then a public open day on Saturday 10th. Pictures to follow next update!

Cycling History Roadshow

Roger has set up the Cycling History Roadshow aimed at visiting schools as part of the National Curriculum Key Stage’s 2 and 3. His first two bookings are in York and then down to Herne Hill in London for seven weeks to work with Transport for London.
